Knowing where you are is fundamental. Knowing your destination and deciding on your direction is the next decision.
Success is not necessarily simply getting to the destination, but that will be determined by you. The steps and overcoming the obstacles, these will be your successes too.
At this stage we’ll plot a course together. We’ll build a timeline and establish the techniques for creating the space for you to concentrate on your path; managing out the unwanted elements to make way for more of what you want.
Building on from the techniques already learned and learning to think smart to overcome organisational politics.
Often, when we're under pressure, distracted, suffering from overload, from problem employees or managers that can't manage, we get distracted. We’ll keep you focused and clear-headed, best suited to making the right decisions to keep you on your path.
We’ll be there to help guide and support your journey, when most needed.
During this session, we talk about you and why you feel you need some additional support but also what you want to achieve: short and long term. I’ll explain how Career-Navigator works and what we’ll need to share, target and focus our time on. After that, should you wish to continue, I’ll ask you to sign a Terms of Service contract which details our approach to Confidentiality, charges and so on.
Each session is around 45-60 minutes, but largely driven by content and urgency (Do you have a time-specific issue to resolve ?)
The sessions will follow a standard path of reviews, current status and proposed outcomes but equally they’ll build upon the previous sessions. It’s my role to keep them tailored to your needs and challenges.
